Shree Shree Thakur Balak Brahmachari was born at Medinimondal Village, in the district of Vikrampur, Dacca in Bangladesh on the auspicious day of Deepawali (festival of lights) on Tuesday, 9th November 1920 (Bengali Year 23 Kartik 1327 BS) at 10.20 PM. His Father was Shree Surendra Chandra Chakroborty and Mother was Smt. Charushila Devi. Smt. Charushila Devi (1899-1985) and Shree Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's mother Smt. Sachi Devi came from the same family lineage of Shree Nilamber Chakroborty (Smt. Sachi Devi’s father). Shree Shree Thakur was born with divine powers and has been an embodiment of pure knowledge since childhood. People from all walks of life were attracted to his grace and spiritualism and to his vast treasure of cosmic truth. The main trend of the discourses of Shree Shree Thakur is on the teaching of Veda, which signifies knowledge. From tender age of five He talks fluently on Vedic theme, on Vedic Communism. But this Veda is not confined within the texts of the four Vedas, Upanishads, the Koran or the other religious scriptures. It covers a much wider field, a more comprehensive dimension, where true knowledge manifests itself amidst Nature's infinite tune.

He has been preaching from His very childhood the concept of One World, One religion, One Nation, One family. Shree Shree Thakur’s real name was Birendra Chandra Chakraborty. From the age of five years, He was initiating people with holy mantras and giving his blessings. From that time He was popularly known as "Balak Gosain" (Child God), or "Balak Thakur" (Child Master) by his followers and local people. He migrated to India in 1947 immediately after the partition of Bengal and came to be popularly known as Thakur Balak Brahmachari. Besides His teaching, Shree Shree Thakur gave us "Rama Narayana Ram" which is the essence of Shree Chaitanya's Nama " Hare Krishna Hare Rama".. According to Shree Shree Thakur, these names do not represent God Rama or God Krishna. These names or words are Primordial Vedic Words having special spiritual significance. They describe the characteristics of the Eternal Void or Space and the Infinite Truth or Tune. Their meaning is deep-rooted and broad-based.
